Suicide Prevention Resources

The construction industry has one of the highest suicide rates of any industry. Approximately 5,000 construction workers die by suicide each year.

As a partner in the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention (CIASP), the LHSFNA is committed to reducing the number of suicides in construction and helping LIUNA members get the help they need.

The Fund is also working to support members and their families through LEAN LIUNA — Laborers Escaping Adversity Now — a peer support program connecting Laborers in need to Laborers who have walked in their shoes.
